February Update
ACA (Aurora Christian Association) – Things are better in the town of Vulcan in Romania than they were a year ago. Home visiting to the elderly, who are referred by their GP is continuing, with food parcels being delivered. Food for the parcels is all being purchased locally. Local churches are open and have seen growth, both numerically and spiritually.
CMS (Church Mission Society) – For the past 21 years we have been supporting the work of Pat Blanchard In Peru. Just before Christmas Pat returned to the UK for good. Her time with CMS officially finishes in May. During the next couple of months she will be visiting churches that have supported her during her time in Lima. She will be at Emmanuel and St John’s on the morning of 6th March. In addition she will also be contributing to the Connect service on that Sunday evening.
Dalitso Trust – Here is an extract from the trust’s latest newsletter. “We have had a full and satisfying year serving the communities around Malingunde. The team continues to rise to all the challenges that Covid brings. We are so very proud of the team under the daily leadership of Chippo, Rhodess and Patterson. We are so privileged that people come along side us to serve the vision of the Trust and see transformation come in the lives of so many people. Malawi was recently on the U.K. travel red list but the new variant does not seem to be taking hold. Even though regular teams have been unable to travel to train and equip the team, we have been able to move onto Zoom. Thank you those who continue to input in the team to see them grow and develop.”
